Luís de LuísFlamenco singers (“cantaores”) as his uncle Nene de Santafe, winner of several “Festival de las Minas” prices and other National Prices, and as his also uncle Amaro Carmona, with whom he has shared stage in several festivals and flamenco venues (“tablaos”), have had a musical influence as a source of inspiration to this dancer, auto-defined, self-taught due to his short academic training.

He starts to combine his flamenco performances in his home land:
“Tablaos”: “Los tarantos”, “La Venta el Gallo”, “Jardines neptuno (performing “Mariquilla”), “Sala Albaizin”, “Los Canasteros”, “Casa Patas”, “Las carboneras”, “El Corral del Carbon”, “El Cordobés”.
He opened the well known “Tablao de Carmen” with the “bailaora” Eva la Yerbaguena, in Barcelona.


His first performance abroad was at the early age of 12 in Perpignan, France, with a fussion group wich combined piano “pureza”, bass and drums.
He joins the company “Cuadro Flamenco” directed by the guitarist Ricardo Mendeville, touring around Holland.

He acts as the leading role in the company “Tito Losada” performing in Japan (Tokio) in the Kirin Lager Theatre.
He joins the company of the guitarist “Paco Peña” performing in countries as Israel or Turkey.
Also with the flamenco show Fire, sharing stage with Sara Baras and Javier Barón touring in several theatres of Australia. He then remains in Australia to join the company of the bailaora Diana Reyes with the performance Pasión.
Later he acts as a leading role in the film Passover with the artists Belen Fernandez, Loa Losadas, El Indio Gitano and El Guadiana, among others.

He has taken part in renowned festivals in his homeland of Granada as:
“Festival de carbón”
“Festival de jovenes flamencos”
“Los trasnoches del festival música y danza”
“Festival de los ogijares”
“Festival de puebla de cazalla”

He travels to Rosario, Argentina, to the first Flamenco Festival of the country sharing stage with Enrique Morente, Miguel Ochando and Manuel Parrilla.
He presentes his show Gao Kalo in the Alambra Theatre.
He joins the company of the guitarist Antonio Andrades to dance in the performance “Noches de Amor” in a tour around Germany and Austria.
Later, he works as a bailaor and choreographer in the show from the bailaora Gabriela Gutarra (Gao Kalo) touring around Norway, Finland and Denmark.
He takes part in the international festival of Flamenco and Jazz “Jazz en el mar del Norte” in Rotterdam, performing also in the festival Ibérica in Prague sharing stage with the bailaora from Granada Patricia Gerrero. He performs in the “Festival del Palacio de Congresos”, Granada. Sharing stage with the bailaores Juan de Juan, Juan Andrés Maya and El Farruco.

He shares the stage with the master Manolete in a production dedicated to Easter “Sentimiento Cofrade. He also takes part in the show of the renowed bailaora Manuela Carrasco “Gran Arte Flamenco”. Takes part in the first International Festival of Flamenco in Japan with artists as Farruquito, La Moneta, Olga Pericet, La Piñona and Alfonso Losa.
Luís works as a choreographer and performer in the theatrical production “El Buscador de Silencios” play based in the philosophy of the poet Kallil Jibran.
Takes part in the closing of the 14th edition of the “Festival del Corral del Carbón” in Granada.

Returns to Japan to participate in the Second International Festival of Flamenco, sharing stage wiht artists as Karime Maya, El Farru, Juan de Juan and Farruquito among others.
Among his lasts performances we should emphasize the show Samurai Flamenco, production that fusions Japanese cultural hints with the flamenco world in the Theatre Quintero in Seville. He also participates in the Third edition of the International Festival of Flamenco in Japan beside artists as Jesús Carmona, Pastora Galvan, Patricia Guerrero, among other renowned artists of nowadays outlook.

Currently, he continues performing in new projects.
