Miguel Hiroshi Garcia was born in Japan in 1984.
He grew up in Granada (South of Spain) surrounded by Spanish culture and Flamenco music. His interest in music has made him travel around the world searching for new sounds and ways of expression. He studied in Andalucia, Barcelona, and Cuba and got a degree on Latin percussion in the Rotterdam Conservatorium.

At present, Miguel is studying a Jazz Percussion Master Course in the Amsterdam Conservatorium and is also teaching percussion at the Rotterdam Conservatorium. As a multi-percussion player, he is taking part in multiple Flamenco, Jazz, World Music, Theater and Dance projects and is touring many countries throughout Europe and Asia.

His workshops are a meeting with rhythm. Compás Flamenco and flavors from other cultures are expressed through the voice, the sounds of the body and the cajón.
