Eduardo Guerrero  met:  ‘MOSAICO’
Eduardo Guerrero begon met dansen op 6 jarige leeftijd bij de Flamenco dansschool van Carmen Guerrero in Cádiz om zich vervolgens te bekwamen bij grootheden als Antonio Canales, Manolo Marin en Mario Maya.
Daarnaast studeerde hij klassieke en hedendaagse dans aan het Conservatoriom van Cádiz.

Vanaf 2002 begint hij zich door zijn samenwerking met vele gezelschappen te onderscheiden door zijn vernieuwende,  grensoverschrijdende en opwindende eigen stijl van Flamenco dans.
Zijn fabuleuze draaitechniek is uniek in de moderne Flamenco,
Zijn voeten techniek is tot op de millimeter nauwkeurig en zijn snelheid onnavolgbaar.
Gelukkig is er in alle hevigheid ook altijd ruimte voor rust en samen met zijn wonderschone arm voeringen maakt dat Eduardo tot een van de meest complete jonge en esthetische Flamencodansers van deze tijd is.

Guerrero brengt met het programma ‘ Mosaico’, dat speciaal voor dit Festival is gemaakt, verschillende hoogtepunten uit recente shows zoals ’Desplante’, ‘Warrior’ en ‘Return’.

EDUARDO GUERREROEDUARDO GUERRERO (Cadiz, Spain) is a flamenco dancer, with an impressive track record. He has performed throughout the world, at the most many prestigious flamenco festivals and stages of Spain.

Eduardo is Bailaor and Bailarín, elegant and powerful and with incredible range, being invited as first dancer, for  the most famous companies, as among others, the company of la Eva Yerbabuena and Rocio Molina.

With great, exiting elegance and post-modern braveness, his impressive style is timeless and the purest. As a teacher, he brings inspiration, energy, passion, dedication, sensitivity and great technique and style.

Terremoto organized 'Desplante', as a primory in the Netherlands, on 26th of June 2016 - Paradiso, Amsterdam. For this performance Eduardo  received the prestigious award for Dance, at the International Minas festival in 'La Unión'.
Many famous flamenco artists have been discovered here, like Miguel Poveda, Vicente Amigo among others.

Now Terremoto again will organize a great workshop with Eduardo in Amsterdam. Impressario Flamenco Puro, Rini Kersten, will presentate 'Mosaico' in BE and NL.


Eduardo Guerrero
started to dance when he was six years old in Carmen Guerrero Flamenco Dance School - Cádiz.
He continued his flamenco learnings with the most important “bailaores” at the time: Antonio Canales, Manolo Marín, Mario Maya, Chiqui de Jerez....He extended his Spanish Dance training at Cadiz conservatory, contemporary dance Knowledge with David Greenall and classic dance with Montserrat Marín.In 2002 he started to collaborate in the spectacles of the most important spanish flamencodancers like:

- “Bernarda Alba” and “Flamenco Directo” by Antonio Canales.- “Eva”, “5 Mujeres 5”, “A cuatro voces”, “Santo y Seña”, “ Lluvia”, “Cuando yo era” and “Federico según Lorca” by Eva Yerbabuena.
- “Salomé”, “Carmen”, “Suite Flamenca” and “Adalí” by Aida Gómez.
- Eduardo collaborated with Rocío Molina, Ursula López and Amador Rojas in their spectacles “Oro Viejo”, “La otra Piel” and “Kahlo Caló” .
- The singer Pasión Vega relied on him in her spectacles “Sin Compasión” and “Dos pianos con Pasión”.

In all these collaborations Eduardo gave his hallmark, with his renewal, transgressive and exciting form to doing Flamenco dance.

His dancing is so impressive that Vladimir Vasilev, after seeing his performance in the Suzanne Dellal Center of Tel Aviv, invited him to participate in posthumous tribute that he was organizing in the Bolshoi Theatre in honor of his wife Ekaterina Maximova.

In 2013 he won the prestigious Award “Desplante” (Flamenco dance prize) in the International Minas Festival in La Unión (Murcia), with this prize Eduardo is recognized by hismaturity and mastery in spite of his youth.

Nowadays Eduardo Guerrero is moving his new spectacle “Re-torno" ('Return') in some of the most important Spanish theaters and he is achieving a great success.
